She is not only a good nurse for the patent but also for the family around them. Not only has she explained everything in ways that I would explain but also helped my family move from local to st marks. And has also helped with the transition from paediatric to adult wards.

I have been dealing with Jackie for several years now because of my 11 year old daughter's medical condition. She has always been extremely professional, thoughtful, caring, friendly and courteous. She is wonderful at communicating with my daughter and explaining what needs to be done, at the same time as putting her at her ease. She has always been very clear when conveying information as well as empathetic. She is very open to questions and keen on keeping good channels of communication going. For example she is always happy to take a phone call and help out. She has made an often challenging series of medical interventions much easier to cope with for both me and my daughter. I hold Jackie in very high regard - and speak as someone who worked in medical regulation for many years - so I know what constitutes good practice. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Jackie is kind and considerate, always takes time to explain matters to my children in simple accessible language and always ensures that they understand what is going on and what the possible outcomes will be.

Jackie is the most helpful & caring Nurse I have ever known. I was really worried about my 6 month old son so contacted the polyposis registry. Jackie quickly got in touch & listened to my concerns before speaking to the paediatric consultant on my behalf. She called me back as promised with advice & when my son's condition seemed to get worse ,Jackie went out of her way to help & get me a clinic appointment with Dr Hyer. Luckily my son is fine now but I feel safe in the knowledge that if I need help or advice in the future this wonderful Nurse is only a phonecall or email away. She went above & beyond for my family & that is so very much appreciated.

Jackie is very informative and explains things in a way which is easy to understand. I had a colonoscopy with sedation for the first time today and Jackie re-assured me every step of the way, which really helped put me at ease with the procedure.
